We were a couple hitchhiking from the Buzludzha Monument. We were just eating when the first car passed by, so I quickly waved — and they actually stopped and took us all the way to Stara Zagora. There’s a big parking area where people can easily stop if they want, and most cars are heading towards Shipka or Kazanlak.―smajlosuf

We were a couple hitchhiking to the Buzludzha Monument. We were standing near a truck parking spot, which wasn’t ideal, cars were passing at high speed and there was only a muddy pull-off where people could stop. After about 15 minutes, a guy stopped and drove us to Shipka.―smajlosuf
